Anti-Inflammatory Root Decoction

$34.00

The Anti-Inflammatory Root Decoction is an herbal ally to inflammation.

Decoctions are long simmered teas. They are wonderful for extracting the medicinal properties of hard roots, dried berries, barks, and seeds. They are much stronger in flavor than herbal infusions and also more concentrated.

This Anti-Inflammatory Root Decoction blend is formulated specifically to be of benefit to those suffering with inflammation in the body. In addition to hopefully reducing inflammation, the ginger and dandelion root promote gut health and good digestion, the dandelion also acts as a support to the liver, and the cinnamon can help lower blood sugar. Astragalus root is a powerful adaptogen and will comfort your vessel as it sorts itself out, really helping to combat fatigue and manage those cortisol levels.

Ingredients: Ginger root (Zingiber officinale), Dandelion Root (Taraxacum officinale), Astragalus Root (Astragalus membranaceus), Turmeric Root (Curcuma longa), Cinnamon Chips (Cinnamomum burmanii).

Directions: Two tablespoon of herb to a quart of water in an appropriately sized pot. Simmer for 30-45 minutes. Strain into heat rated glass container (such as a canning jar), cool, add a dash of black pepper, and enjoy.

Pregnant or nursing women should not use this decoction. If you have liver disease or damage, gallstone disease, low blood sugar, take blood thinning medications, have an immune system disease such as multiple sclerosis, lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE), rheumatoid arthritis, or another condition known as an "autoimmune disease," you should not use this decoction.

If you have diabetes, preexisting conditions, or are on any medications, please consult your physician before starting any herbal regimen.
