Amber graduated from Hallmark Institute of Photography in Massachusetts in 2007 but began working in the industry professionally in 2005 after enjoying a photography class at a local community college. It has been over fifteen years since she started shooting and while it is no longer her primary source of income, she still holds a deeply rooted passion for photography and continues to accept work in the field professionally.
She is formally trained in commercial and advertising photography as well as landscape, fine art, and portraiture.
